8am

Today I was dropped off by my Mum who insisted on stopping for a coffee and a chat with Jane and Amy to see how I was getting on.. I also heard her ask there was any space in the hotel as she was planning on going out for dinner with Dad one evening and would rather I stayed over in one of the suites.

I must ask Buzz and Rufus if they are staying over at all this month.

After Mum has left I always get taken to see my friends.... this room is always exciting as we haven't seen each other since at least the day before.. there are a few large toys that we can play with but because we all have so much energy the carers tend to watch us and help us to settle by asking us to sit and lay down and listen (I hate listening!).

By 9am everyone has arrived and we have all been put in small groups to meet each other.... today there are 12 other dogs in the centre and so there is lots going on.... some of the other dogs are very young or elderly or simply don't enjoy busy atmospheres so they get put in the special room where there are R E A L L Y comfy beds and they can chill-out for the morning.

The rest of us get put into one of the indoor play parks .... we always get to play with the carers and other dogs and we really enjoy this part of the day!!

10.30am / 11am

After an hour or two running and playing it is time for us to be put into smaller groups  so we can start to relax (to be honest, I am usually feeling pretty tired by now!).. Once we have all settled down for an hour it is the carers' lunch time, some of us are collected by our owners, some of us get one on one learning time with the carers  and the rest of us have a well-earned rest, although we are never left to our devices!

2pm

After everyone has had some one-to-one time with the carers we get to run and play in the play park again with some new games and the more timid dogs get a much larger room and some supervised activities to help challenge them and build their confidence.

4pm

After another hour or two of running and playing we are ready to sleep again!!! We relax back into our friendship groups and sleep for a while.

By the time we wake up, the first dog's Mum has arrived to pick him up....   We love going home and curling up with our parents.. especially as we know we will be back the next day!!

Some of us get to stay on and take part if in classes... I am part of the flyball team and really look forward to it!!!!
